Boy Scout, Be A Man!
Apr 26th, 2010 by frsamuelmedley
Homily to the Boy Scouts of Corpus Christi, TX, on their day of recollection to receive the "Ad Altare Dei" and "Pope Pius XII" awards. Later when they were renewing their Baptismal promises, because they were a bit faint of voice I asked, "Is this the girl scouts or the boy scouts?" Then when I asked them if they rejected satan I heard a resounding, "I DO!!!"

Yes, triangulate your life! Thanks so much, Father, what a fabulous homily.
I had the honor of counseling 6 boys in earning their AAD emblem, and I am very proud of their efforts. They just completed their retreat in the Pocono Mts of Pennsylvania.
I homeschool our two boys (2nd class BS and Star BS), and I plan to play this homily for them tomorrow morning during our religion lessons; also share it with all the parents from our patrol. I’m sure they’ll love it.
Thank you again, Father, for sharing this important message with us! God bless.
Father, I’m going to link this to my blog, Kathleen’s Catholic. www.kathleenscatholic.blogspot.com.
Thank you Father. This was a great homily. I stumbled across this from a link from Kathleen’s blog - sharing with all my Scouter friends.
